# Casual Metaphysics vs Make Ways

The clearest difference is rating: Casual Metaphysics at 4.6 against Make Ways's 3.8. Casual Metaphysics also leads on update cadence (every 3 days vs monthly) and ratings volume (444 vs 26). Make Ways's advantage is review sentiment (75% vs 61%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Casual Metaphysics sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Make Ways sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Casual Metaphysics holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Casual Metaphysics has 444 ratings behind it against 26, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 61% of Casual Metaphysics's written reviews are positive against 75% of Make Ways's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Casual Metaphysics ships an update every 3 days, Make Ways monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
