# Makeup Creator vs Lash Salon

Makeup Creator and Lash Salon both sit at 4.7 stars, but that hides the real split: 81% of Makeup Creator's written reviews are positive against 41% of Lash Salon's. Makeup Creator also leads on update cadence (every 5 days vs monthly). Lash Salon's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 10) and ratings volume (24K vs 3.8K). On price, rating, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Makeup Creator sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Lash Salon asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for Makeup Creator against 4.5 for Lash Salon. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Lash Salon has 24K ratings behind it against 3.8K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 81% of Makeup Creator's written reviews are positive against 41% of Lash Salon's.

Makeup Creator ships an update every 5 days, Lash Salon monthly. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and November 7, 2026 respectively.
