# The Complex vs Argus

The Complex and Argus both sit at 4.4 stars, but that hides the real split: 85% of Argus's written reviews are positive against 46% of The Complex's. Argus also leads on update cadence (fortnightly vs every 3 months). The Complex's advantage is ads (none vs shown). On price, rating, ratings volume and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. The Complex sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Argus sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
