# Task vs Supermomos

The clearest difference is rating: Task at 5.0 against Supermomos's 4.2. Task also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 4) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). Supermomos's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 18 months). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Supermomos sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. Task asks for nothing beyond the download.

Task holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Supermomos has 52 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Task ships an update every 18 months, Supermomos fortnightly. Both last shipped on November 3, 2026.
