# Project Noosphere vs The Sophia Code

The clearest difference is rating: The Sophia Code at 5.0 against Project Noosphere's 4.2. The Sophia Code also leads on monetization model (freemium vs subscription) and ratings volume (266 vs 5). Project Noosphere's advantage is iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.0). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Project Noosphere sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and The Sophia Code sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $22.00 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
