# Project Noosphere vs Lotus Mobile

The clearest difference is rating: Lotus Mobile at 5.0 against Project Noosphere's 4.2. Lotus Mobile also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 3) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months). Project Noosphere's advantage is ratings volume (5 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18). On price, review sentiment, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Project Noosphere sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Lotus Mobile asks for nothing beyond the download.

Lotus Mobile holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Project Noosphere has 5 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.
