# CCSNormanOK vs ProtectOK

The clearest difference is rating: ProtectOK at 3.8 against CCSNormanOK's 2.4. CCSNormanOK's advantage is update cadence (every 2 months vs every 26 months) and review sentiment (25% vs 0%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

ProtectOK holds the better App Store score, 3.8 against 2.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: CCSNormanOK has 49 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 25% of CCSNormanOK's written reviews are positive against 0% of ProtectOK's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

CCSNormanOK ships an update every 2 months, ProtectOK every 26 months. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
