# Alpha Connect vs SettleNote

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Alpha Connect at none against SettleNote's 1. Alpha Connect also leads on iOS requirement (10.0 vs 15.0). SettleNote's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 6 months). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SettleNote sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Alpha Connect asks for nothing beyond the download.

Alpha Connect ships an update every 6 months, SettleNote every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 2, 2026 and September 9, 2026 respectively.
