# Source BT vs ALLIANCE IT Pro

The clearest difference is rating: Source BT at 4.3 against ALLIANCE IT Pro's 2.4. ALLIANCE IT Pro's advantage is review sentiment (17% vs 0%) and ratings volume (44 vs 8). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Source BT holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 2.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ALLIANCE IT Pro has 44 ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 0% of Source BT's written reviews are positive against 17% of ALLIANCE IT Pro's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Source BT ships an update monthly, ALLIANCE IT Pro every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on July 19, 2026 and September 16, 2026 respectively.
