# VanOnGo vs CT Pool

The clearest difference is rating: VanOnGo at 4.8 against CT Pool's 4.2. VanOnGo also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 38). CT Pool's advantage is review sentiment (58% vs 33%) and ratings volume (918 vs 4). On price, update cadence, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. CT Pool sells 38 in-app purchases, starting at $14.49 per 3 months. VanOnGo asks for nothing beyond the download.

VanOnGo holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: CT Pool has 918 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 33% of VanOnGo's written reviews are positive against 58% of CT Pool's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 4, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
