# SCM RADIO vs EMF Network

The clearest difference is update cadence: EMF Network at every 2 months against SCM RADIO's every 35 months. SCM RADIO's advantage is ratings volume (7 vs 1) and iOS requirement (14.0 vs 16.6). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for SCM RADIO against 5.0 for EMF Network. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SCM RADIO has 7 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

SCM RADIO ships an update every 35 months, EMF Network every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and November 4, 2026 respectively.
