# Wheel Smash vs Loop Digger!

The clearest difference is update cadence: Loop Digger! at every 3 days against Wheel Smash's fortnightly. Loop Digger! also leads on rating (4.8 vs 4.6). Wheel Smash's advantage is monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and ratings volume (100K vs 42). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Loop Digger! holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Wheel Smash has 100K ratings behind it against 42, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Wheel Smash ships an update fortnightly, Loop Digger! every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
