# Device Tracker Plus vs Farvision Homes

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Farvision Homes at 100% against Device Tracker Plus's 18%. Farvision Homes also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 1). Device Tracker Plus's advantage is rating (2.0 vs 1.0) and update cadence (every 9 days vs every 3 months). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Device Tracker Plus sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $9.49 per month. Farvision Homes asks for nothing beyond the download.

Device Tracker Plus holds the better App Store score, 2.0 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Device Tracker Plus has 14 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 18% of Device Tracker Plus's written reviews are positive against 100% of Farvision Homes's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Device Tracker Plus ships an update every 9 days, Farvision Homes every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
