# RainPoint vs Mammotion

The clearest difference is rating: RainPoint at 4.6 against Mammotion's 2.9. RainPoint also leads on ratings volume (1.1K vs 349) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.1). Mammotion's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 3 months). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

RainPoint holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 2.9. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 1.1K and 349 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 29% of RainPoint's written reviews are positive against 34% of Mammotion's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

RainPoint ships an update every 3 months, Mammotion every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
