# RainPoint vs Habit Control

The clearest difference is rating: RainPoint at 4.6 against Habit Control's 3.5. RainPoint also leads on ratings volume (1.1K vs 11) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.2). Habit Control's advantage is update cadence (every 5 weeks vs every 3 months). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

RainPoint holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: RainPoint has 1.1K ratings behind it against 11, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 29% and 29% positive.

RainPoint ships an update every 3 months, Habit Control every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 3, 2026 respectively.
