# The CCO vs ADT+

The clearest difference is review sentiment: The CCO at 100% against ADT+'s 41%. The CCO also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). ADT+'s advantage is rating (4.8 vs 3.7) and ratings volume (63K vs 3). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

ADT+ holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ADT+ has 63K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of The CCO's written reviews are positive against 41% of ADT+'s, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

The CCO ships an update every 6 weeks, ADT+ monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
