# CoverMe vs Catch A Cheater

The clearest difference is review sentiment: CoverMe at 100% against Catch A Cheater's 48%. CoverMe also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 3) and device support (3 vs 1). Catch A Cheater's advantage is rating (3.5 vs 2.3) and update cadence (every 8 days vs every 6 weeks). On price, ads and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Catch A Cheater sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. CoverMe asks for nothing beyond the download.

Catch A Cheater holds the better App Store score, 3.5 against 2.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Catch A Cheater has 107 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of CoverMe's written reviews are positive against 48% of Catch A Cheater's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

CoverMe ships an update every 6 weeks, Catch A Cheater every 8 days. Both last shipped on November 3, 2026.
