# PPPassword vs LucidPass

The clearest difference is update cadence: PPPassword at every 3 weeks against LucidPass's every 53 months. PPPassword also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PPPassword sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and LucidPass sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

PPPassword ships an update every 3 weeks, LucidPass every 53 months. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
