# Structured vs Vertical Calendar

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Vertical Calendar at none against Structured's 17. Vertical Calendar also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 78%). Structured's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 9 days vs every 5 months). On price and rating there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Structured sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Vertical Calendar asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for Structured against 4.9 for Vertical Calendar. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Structured has 168K ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 78% of Structured's written reviews are positive against 100% of Vertical Calendar's.

Structured ships an update every 9 days, Vertical Calendar every 5 months. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
