# Real Driving School vs Driving School Simulator

The clearest difference is update cadence: Real Driving School at weekly against Driving School Simulator's every 5 weeks. On price, rating, review sentiment and ratings volume there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Real Driving School sells 11 one-off in-app purchases and Driving School Simulator sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Real Driving School holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.6. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 50K and 36K respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 71% of Real Driving School's written reviews are positive against 79% of Driving School Simulator's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Real Driving School ships an update weekly, Driving School Simulator every 5 weeks. Both last shipped on October 30, 2026.
