# Sticky Notes Widget vs LockNotes

The clearest difference is rating: Sticky Notes Widget at 4.7 against LockNotes's 2.7. Sticky Notes Widget also leads on ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (daily vs every 3 months). LockNotes's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 2) and review sentiment (41% vs 29%). On price and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Sticky Notes Widget sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. LockNotes asks for nothing beyond the download.

Sticky Notes Widget holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 2.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Sticky Notes Widget has 6.5K ratings behind it against 29, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 29% of Sticky Notes Widget's written reviews are positive against 41% of LockNotes's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
