# Sticky Notes Widget vs Diary with Lock

The clearest difference is rating: Sticky Notes Widget at 4.7 against Diary with Lock's 3.7. Sticky Notes Widget also leads on update cadence (daily vs every 3 weeks) and ratings volume (6.6K vs 3). Diary with Lock's advantage is review sentiment (50% vs 29%) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Sticky Notes Widget sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days and Diary with Lock sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $12.00 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Sticky Notes Widget holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Sticky Notes Widget has 6.6K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 29% of Sticky Notes Widget's written reviews are positive against 50% of Diary with Lock's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Sticky Notes Widget ships an update daily, Diary with Lock every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
