# UniFi Verify vs Monitoreal Secure Guard

The clearest difference is ratings volume: UniFi Verify at 12K against Monitoreal Secure Guard's 3. Monitoreal Secure Guard's advantage is update cadence (every 5 weeks vs every 3 months). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for UniFi Verify against 5.0 for Monitoreal Secure Guard. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: UniFi Verify has 12K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.

UniFi Verify ships an update every 3 months, Monitoreal Secure Guard every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
