# Artsonia vs Underwood CSD

The clearest difference is monetization model: Underwood CSD at free against Artsonia's free with in-app purchases. Underwood CSD also leads on update cadence (every 3 months vs every 14 months). Artsonia's advantage is ratings volume (1.4K vs 2) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Artsonia against 5.0 for Underwood CSD. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Artsonia has 1.4K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Artsonia ships an update every 14 months, Underwood CSD every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
