# Artsonia vs Take Note Studio

The clearest difference is rating: Artsonia at 4.9 against Take Note Studio's 4.0. Artsonia also leads on ratings volume (1.3K vs 2). Take Note Studio's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 14 months) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Artsonia holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Artsonia has 1.3K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.
