# TaqReader vs پرستو

The clearest difference is update cadence: پرستو at every 6 days against TaqReader's every 6 weeks. پرستو also leads on review sentiment (67% vs 59%). TaqReader's advantage is ratings volume (1K vs 7) and chart position (#100 vs unranked). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.4 for TaqReader against 4.4 for پرستو. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TaqReader has 1K ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 59% of TaqReader's written reviews are positive against 67% of پرستو's.

TaqReader ships an update every 6 weeks, پرستو every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and September 23, 2026 respectively.
