# Ice Cream Roll vs Bag Sim

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Bag Sim at 100% against Ice Cream Roll's 38%. Bag Sim also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 1). Ice Cream Roll's advantage is rating (4.5 vs 3.4) and update cadence (every 6 weeks vs every 25 months). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Ice Cream Roll sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Bag Sim asks for nothing beyond the download.

Ice Cream Roll holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Ice Cream Roll has 23K ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 38% of Ice Cream Roll's written reviews are positive against 100% of Bag Sim's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Ice Cream Roll ships an update every 6 weeks, Bag Sim every 25 months. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
