# Zavvi vs Mad Bagger

Zavvi and Mad Bagger both sit at 4.8 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of Mad Bagger's written reviews are positive against 37% of Zavvi's. Zavvi's advantage is ratings volume (520 vs 41) and iOS requirement (13.4 vs 15.1). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for Zavvi against 4.9 for Mad Bagger. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Zavvi has 520 ratings behind it against 41, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 37% of Zavvi's written reviews are positive against 100% of Mad Bagger's.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 11, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
