# C vs OroVPN

The clearest difference is ads: C at none against OroVPN's shown. OroVPN's advantage is update cadence (every 5 weeks vs every 22 months). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. C sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and OroVPN sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

C ships an update every 22 months, OroVPN every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
