# C vs Scam Buster

The clearest difference is ads: C at none against Scam Buster's shown. C also leads on iOS requirement (14 vs 17.0). Scam Buster's advantage is update cadence (every 3 months vs every 22 months). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. C sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and Scam Buster sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $11.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

C ships an update every 22 months, Scam Buster every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
