# BeLingual vs The snap academy

The clearest difference is update cadence: BeLingual at every 4 weeks against The snap academy's every 7 months. BeLingual also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.5). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. BeLingual sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and The snap academy sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

BeLingual ships an update every 4 weeks, The snap academy every 7 months. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
