# iTrack Location Tracker vs Car Play Connect

The clearest difference is review sentiment: iTrack Location Tracker at 96% against Car Play Connect's 28%. iTrack Location Tracker also leads on monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription) and ads (none vs shown). Car Play Connect's advantage is rating (4.6 vs 3.9) and update cadence (every 3 days vs every 2 months). On price, in-app purchases, chart position and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. iTrack Location Tracker sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and Car Play Connect sells 13 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Car Play Connect holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.9. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 924 and 2.9K respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 96% of iTrack Location Tracker's written reviews are positive against 28% of Car Play Connect's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

iTrack Location Tracker ships an update every 2 months, Car Play Connect every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
