# Join Clash vs Slash Royal

The clearest difference is rating: Join Clash at 4.6 against Slash Royal's 4.1. Join Clash also leads on ratings volume (397K vs 677) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). Slash Royal's advantage is update cadence (monthly vs every 3 months) and review sentiment (52% vs 40%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Join Clash sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per 7 days and Slash Royal sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Join Clash holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Join Clash has 397K ratings behind it against 677, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 40% of Join Clash's written reviews are positive against 52% of Slash Royal's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Join Clash ships an update every 3 months, Slash Royal monthly. The most recent releases landed on November 5, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
