# Forest Mushroom Identification vs Mushroom Identification ++

The clearest difference is rating: Forest Mushroom Identification at 4.5 against Mushroom Identification ++'s 1.8. Forest Mushroom Identification also leads on ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). Mushroom Identification ++'s advantage is review sentiment (97% vs 75%) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 17.6). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Forest Mushroom Identification sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days and Mushroom Identification ++ sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Forest Mushroom Identification holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 1.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Forest Mushroom Identification has 229 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 75% of Forest Mushroom Identification's written reviews are positive against 97% of Mushroom Identification ++'s, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
