# Day Counter vs Committed

The clearest difference is update cadence: Committed at every 6 days against Day Counter's every 6 weeks. Committed also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7). Day Counter's advantage is ratings volume (463 vs 7) and iOS requirement (15.6 vs 18.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Day Counter sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and Committed sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Committed holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Day Counter has 463 ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Day Counter ships an update every 6 weeks, Committed every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and November 5, 2026 respectively.
