# CalenDraw vs Digital Planner

The clearest difference is monetization model: Digital Planner at free with in-app purchases against CalenDraw's subscription. Digital Planner also leads on ratings volume (14K vs 3.1K). CalenDraw's advantage is review sentiment (57% vs 21%) and ads (none vs shown). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. CalenDraw sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month and Digital Planner sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

CalenDraw holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.3. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 3.1K and 14K respectively. Written reviews point the same way: 57% of CalenDraw's written reviews are positive against 21% of Digital Planner's.

CalenDraw ships an update every 2 weeks, Digital Planner every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 18, 2026 respectively.
