# CalenDraw vs Pawpack

The clearest difference is monetization model: Pawpack at freemium against CalenDraw's subscription. Pawpack also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.5) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.0). CalenDraw's advantage is ratings volume (3.4K vs 1) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 6 weeks). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. CalenDraw sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month and Pawpack sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Pawpack holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: CalenDraw has 3.4K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

CalenDraw ships an update every 2 weeks, Pawpack every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
