# Supercluster vs SkySafari 7 Plus

The clearest difference is price: Supercluster at Free against SkySafari 7 Plus's $9.99. Supercluster also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 3) and review sentiment (69% vs 46%). SkySafari 7 Plus's advantage is rating (4.7 vs 4.4) and chart position (#127 vs unranked). On update cadence, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Supercluster is free to download; SkySafari 7 Plus costs $9.99 up front. SkySafari 7 Plus sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Supercluster asks for nothing beyond the download.

SkySafari 7 Plus holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SkySafari 7 Plus has 1.7K ratings behind it against 190, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 69% of Supercluster's written reviews are positive against 46% of SkySafari 7 Plus's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
