# Droid Depot vs Legacy Bot Controller

The clearest difference is rating: Legacy Bot Controller at 4.7 against Droid Depot's 3.6. Legacy Bot Controller also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 31 months). Droid Depot's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 9) and ratings volume (597 vs 16). On price, review sentiment, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Legacy Bot Controller sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Droid Depot asks for nothing beyond the download.

Legacy Bot Controller holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Droid Depot has 597 ratings behind it against 16, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 56% of Droid Depot's written reviews are positive against 50% of Legacy Bot Controller's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Droid Depot ships an update every 31 months, Legacy Bot Controller every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
