# Countdown vs DayMark

The clearest difference is rating: Countdown at 4.8 against DayMark's 3.0. Countdown also leads on ratings volume (118 vs 2). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Countdown sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and DayMark sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Countdown holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Countdown has 118 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Countdown ships an update every 2 weeks, DayMark every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
