# Fonts ∘ vs Fonts

The clearest difference is monetization model: Fonts ∘ at free with in-app purchases against Fonts's subscription. Fonts ∘ also leads on update cadence (every 5 days vs every 6 weeks) and rating (4.5 vs 4.3). Fonts's advantage is ads (none vs shown).
