# Schooly vs School Planner

Schooly and School Planner both sit at 4.5 stars, but that hides the real split: 74% of Schooly's written reviews are positive against 50% of School Planner's. Schooly also leads on ratings volume (402 vs 21). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Schooly sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and School Planner sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.5 for Schooly against 4.6 for School Planner. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Schooly has 402 ratings behind it against 21, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 74% of Schooly's written reviews are positive against 50% of School Planner's.

Schooly ships an update every 5 days, School Planner every 8 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
