# Tekonsha EDGE vs WeRV

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Tekonsha EDGE at 50% against WeRV's 11%. Tekonsha EDGE also leads on iOS requirement (12 vs 15.0). WeRV's advantage is rating (3.9 vs 3.4) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 5 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

WeRV holds the better App Store score, 3.9 against 3.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: WeRV has 333 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of Tekonsha EDGE's written reviews are positive against 11% of WeRV's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Tekonsha EDGE ships an update every 5 months, WeRV every 3 weeks. Both last shipped on October 17, 2026.
