# Freedom Forever vs SolarEdge Go

The clearest difference is update cadence: SolarEdge Go at fortnightly against Freedom Forever's every 3 months. Freedom Forever's advantage is rating (2.5 vs 2.1) and ratings volume (1.7K vs 172). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Freedom Forever holds the better App Store score, 2.5 against 2.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Freedom Forever has 1.7K ratings behind it against 172, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 10% of Freedom Forever's written reviews are positive against 15% of SolarEdge Go's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Freedom Forever ships an update every 3 months, SolarEdge Go fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 18, 2026 respectively.
