# iN vs Xantrex App

The clearest difference is rating: Xantrex App at 5.0 against iN's 2.5. Xantrex App also leads on update cadence (every 2 months vs every 22 months). iN's advantage is ratings volume (12 vs 1) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Xantrex App holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 2.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: iN has 12 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

iN ships an update every 22 months, Xantrex App every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and October 3, 2026 respectively.
