# StrangeCat vs ArtPics

The clearest difference is review sentiment: StrangeCat at 100% against ArtPics's 44%. StrangeCat also leads on price (Free vs $0.99) and rating (4.0 vs 3.2). ArtPics's advantage is ratings volume (10 vs 1). On update cadence, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

StrangeCat is free to download; ArtPics costs $0.99 up front. StrangeCat sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $2.49 per month and ArtPics sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

StrangeCat holds the better App Store score, 4.0 against 3.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ArtPics has 10 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
