# INKR vs VeVe Comics Reader

INKR and VeVe Comics Reader both sit at 4.4 stars, but that hides the real split: 68% of VeVe Comics Reader's written reviews are positive against 32% of INKR's. VeVe Comics Reader also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 11) and ads (none vs shown). INKR's advantage is ratings volume (2.5K vs 56) and update cadence (fortnightly vs monthly). On price, rating, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. INKR sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. VeVe Comics Reader asks for nothing beyond the download.

INKR holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: INKR has 2.5K ratings behind it against 56, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 32% of INKR's written reviews are positive against 68% of VeVe Comics Reader's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

INKR ships an update fortnightly, VeVe Comics Reader monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
