# INKR vs Lunarwrite

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Lunarwrite at 85% against INKR's 32%. Lunarwrite also leads on ads (none vs shown) and rating (4.8 vs 4.4). INKR's advantage is ratings volume (2.5K vs 100) and update cadence (fortnightly vs monthly). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. INKR sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Lunarwrite sells 5 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Lunarwrite holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: INKR has 2.5K ratings behind it against 100, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 32% of INKR's written reviews are positive against 85% of Lunarwrite's.

INKR ships an update fortnightly, Lunarwrite monthly. Both last shipped on October 27, 2026.
