# Plexamp vs Manet Music

The clearest difference is rating: Plexamp at 4.7 against Manet Music's 4.4. Plexamp also leads on ratings volume (10K vs 222) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 18.0). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Plexamp sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month and Manet Music sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $9.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Plexamp holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Plexamp has 10K ratings behind it against 222, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 75% of Plexamp's written reviews are positive against 79% of Manet Music's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
