# Connect vs METApp

The clearest difference is rating: METApp at 5.0 against Connect's 2.6. METApp also leads on update cadence (monthly vs every 3 months). Connect's advantage is ratings volume (16 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

METApp holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 2.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Connect has 16 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Connect ships an update every 3 months, METApp monthly. The most recent releases landed on September 19, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
